35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!” 36 And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.
Listen to him! Look to those red letters in your Bible and let them touch your heart. Learn from Jesus and his life and his teachings. Let them be the litmus test for our lives. Are we living out his teachings? Are we modeling our lives after his? The season of Lent begins tomorrow. Let living more like Jesus be our new habit we develop or grow in these next 40 days.
Gracious God, Help us to be more like Jesus. Help us to model our lives after his, loving all your children, helping all those in need, and reserving judgment to you. Amen.
