Lord, giver of peace and love,
Thank you for this day,
for the bird song that fills the air,
a sure sign of spring coming.
It's easy to rejoice in the spring times of my life
but help me to rejoice in the cold, wintery times too.
Help me to rejoice always, in the good and the bad times.
Help me to see the good even around the bad.
Rejoicing lifts me, builds me, revives me and grows me.
Today and every day I rejoice in you!

How do you rejoice?
How do I rejoice? I rejoice in singing, in sharing with fellow sisters and brothers in Christ. I rejoice in praising God for His amazing creation. I'm learning (or trying to) how to praise the Lord in EVERY situation.

Wonderful! I rejoice with singing too. I find that I do can that with all situations. There seems to be a hymn for so many and my mind flows to hymns in all situations and it helps me to rejoice.
